Call with Michael Watson – How to be Resourceful in Difficult Times
I’m very excited to be interviewing NLP and Hypnosis Master, Michael Watson, next week. Michael has amazingly elegant conversational change skills – when you listen to him, you relax, laugh and feel alive, and all the while huge perspective shifts are happening. Michael works closely with Jamie Smart, so those of you who enjoyed my call with Jamie last month will find that Michael has the same kind of gentle, elegant mastery in his coaching style.
In this call we’ll be covering:
- Why we often get stuck mentally and emotionally during difficult times, and some of the kind of thinking that’ll get you even more stuck.
- How and why subtle changes in the way you think can give you a totally different experience of your life and that “difficult thing.”
- How to create emotional freedom and a sense of well-being, regardless of the chaos or challenges you’re facing in your circumstances.
- How to get into a resourceful state, where you’ll be able to creatively respond to the “difficult thing” and find ways to use it to create more of the life you want.

Interview on Slacker Reform
In July, while I was in the USA, one of the best parts of my trip was getting to meet so many of my online friends. Carl Nelson is one of the friends I got to meet. Carl is a fellow location independent traveler who’s living his passions and funding his travels by dancing (oh, my gosh, he does lindyhopping – such a fun style of dance!), teaching dance and running his online businesses. Carl has a fantastic blog, called Slacker Reform, geared to help people who want to live an authentic unconventional life, rather than just following the template.
I had a great time chatting with Carl about my own journey online, some of my own tricks for learning and changing fast, how to dissolve limiting assumptions and find the hidden opportunities in life, Agile Living and the Bottom-line Bookclub.

The Art of Changing Easily and Gracefully
I was pleased to have another one of my articles, “The Art of Changing Easily and Gracefully,” published on the very popular “tips for life” blog, Dumb Little Man.
“As technology continues to advance, nobody can deny that were living in a faster-paced world with more change than previous generations have ever experienced. Charles Darwin said, “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change,” and this has never been truer. The people who are thriving and will continue to thrive in this era are those who are agile and skilled at changing easily and elegantly in response to their changing environment, and as they proactively create more of the life they want. So here are some tips to help you become more agile:” Click here to read on.
Dumb Little Man is a great blog that’ll give you tips for life across all spheres of your life: work, health, relationships, money, technology and more. You can follow Jay on Twitter at @JWhite.
