Alex says, “Regrets can actually be good for you – and act as motivation for your current dreams. And when you feel pressured for time on choices or decisions, remembering what choices you’ve regretted in the past can help you make regret-free choices quickly in the moment.”

John Bardos wrote this thought-provoking post, What is a Great Lifestyle? posted at JetSetCitizen.com. I’m totally with John when he says: “Goals are great to accomplish, but that satisfaction is momentary and fleeting. Real happiness comes from the striving, not the attaining. Don’t wait until you have the perfect lifestyle design, to enjoy your life.”

Living in this fast-paced, high energy world isn’t always easy, and a lot of us who are working in the fastest-paced industries are there because we drive ourselves hard. Dani at Positively Present says “Cut yourself some slack and recognize that a happy life doesn’t mean a perfect life.” Her post, a happy life is not a perfect life posted at positively present, gives you 6 tips to stop trying to be perfect and start being happy.

I love what Deb says, “Playing small, being someone else in order to be the way you were told you’re supposed to be, does no one any favors — least of all, you.”

One of the challenges of a highly interconnected, fast-paced world is that everyone is rushing around like crazy… and with the stress and craziness, it’s almost impossible to think clearly, relax and enjoy getting things done. Ian Peatey wrote a great post called Everyone’s in a hurry posted at Quantum Learning, where he shares his thoughts on the importance of being able to calm your mind, even when everyone else is rushing around you.

In a busy, high-opportunity world we can get pulled in many different directions, often getting tugged away from what we love. This is a great example of using regular simple reviews and small steps to create the agile momentum to make your dreams a reality.
